Numberle - A Daily Math Adventure!

Numberle is a challenging mathematical puzzle game inspired by the viral Nyt Wordle.
Instead of finding the right word, your goal in Numberle is to discover the mysterious mathematical equation in only 6 tries.
Each equation you submit will be met with color-coded feedback to help you hone in on the answer.
If all numbers and operations turn green, you’ve successfully solved the puzzle!
That’s right; to pull that off, you’ll need a blend of mathematical understanding and the ability to reason and deduce.
Push your limits and see how many puzzles you can crack!

How to play the Numberle Game?

You have to guess the hidden math equation in 6 tries and the color of the tiles changes to show how close you are.
To start playing, enter any mathematical equation, for example:
5
+
3
*
8
=
2
9

8 , 2 is not in the target equation at all.

5 , * , 9 is in the equation, but in the wrong spot.

+ , 3 , = is in the equation and in the correct spot.

Guess the target equation (all rows are green) to win the game.
Game Rules:
  • The guess is accepted only with the correct equation
  • Each guess must contain one “=”
  • You can only use 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 numbers and + – * / = signs
  • The equation must have an integer to the right of the “=”
  • Each guess is not commutative (a+b=c and b+a=c are different guesses)

Numberle Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Numberle?

Numberle is a math-based puzzle game inspired by Wordle. Players guess a hidden mathematical equation using numbers (0-9) and operators (+, -, *, /, =) within six tries. Color-coded clues—green for correct elements in the right position, yellow for correct elements in the wrong position, and gray for incorrect ones—help guide you to the solution.

Enter a valid mathematical equation (e.g., 2+3=5). After each guess, tiles show green (correct number/operator in the right spot), yellow (correct but in the wrong spot), or gray (not in the equation). You have six tries to guess the target equation.

Each guess must be a valid equation with an integer result. Use numbers 0-9 and operators (+, -, *, /, =). Equations are evaluated left to right, ignoring the traditional order of operations. The goal is to match the target equation exactly (all green tiles) in six or fewer tries.

No, you can take your time to solve the daily puzzle. A new puzzle resets daily at midnight, so submit your guess before then to maintain your streak.
